What's netnews? Netnews is a worldwide collection of discussion groups on almost any topic that can be imagined. How do I try netnews? A news reader, like the one included in Outlook Express, is needed. See the optional newnews instructions in our Windows setup page for details. Our news server is news.traceroad.net. What about spam? Spam, unwanted email, is often sent to email addresses found in netnews postings. You can avoid this by not posting messages or by using a false email address. The downside to the false email address option is that others cannot respond by email to your posts. Most netnews users never post to the groups they read. |
